José Sánchez Vélez is an architect specialised in urban planning, with over 30 years of professional experience. He is a founding member of the firm DYOV (Design Your Own Villa). 

DYOV represents a dream come true for José Sánchez and his team, with two architecture, interior design and urban planning studios specialising in the residential sector. Their projects are characterised by a focus on maximum energy efficiency in the homes they design, based on the Passive Bioclimatic concept (Mediterranean PASSIVHAUS) for natural heating and ventilation.

In addition to specialising in handling single-family and multi-unit residential buildings, José Sánchez is the founder of the Sistemas de Carpintería Aluplast S.A., a company dedicated to PVC and aluminum, and has been a member of the Agrupación de Arquitectos Urbanistas, an association for architects specialised in urban planning, since 1988.

The architect considers himself a highly ethical professional, and makes a priority of helping his clients get the most out of their financial investment throughout the construction and implementation of the project. He offers a personalised service with the goal of meeting the needs and wishes of his clients, with a guarantee of professionalism and transparency for each project.

José Sánchez works throughout the Murcia region, as well as in Alicante, Almería, Albacete, Granada, Madrid, Valencia, Málaga, Toledo and Palma de Mallorca. He is not held back by geographic limitations however and is able to travel depending on the project.
